There have been some exciting changes happening behind the scenes here at Eat With Knowledge.
Back in March, the practice moved to 100% virtual counseling due to COVID. We’re excited to announce that we will continue to be 100% virtual going forward.
I will move out of our Nyack office soon and this comes with so many emotions! Back in July 2011 (9 years ago!), I opened up the doors to Eat With Knowledge as a brand new business owner with no idea of what was to come. I’m happy to say the practice has grown to a group practice to include a team of dietitians. We have served over 1,000 clients and gone through many changes to our business model. Elyssa, Laura, and I are so grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in our client’s lives and support our clients in healing their relationship with food.
I’m also so proud that the business expanded to include Pursuing Private Practice, a company to support dietitians building a private practice.
Moving out of the office will be so bittersweet. The office has felt like a second home for me and my team. There has been so much healing that happened in the space. We also love Nyack, NY! Nyack has always felt so welcoming to our business and I’m so thankful I took a chance on the building (and myself!!) back in 2011.
It’s a tough decision, but I know it’s the right decision with all the uncertainty going on in the world. We have also heard from our current clients– everyone loves virtual counseling! We do hope to move to another local space sometime in 2021 to offer an in-person option to our clients. My goal is to have a local party for our 10 year anniversary, July 2021!
This time is a transition for us and also for many of you.
Transitions are tough. Transitions come with many feelings and hard emotions. I want to give everyone permission to honor where you are at right now. It’s a good reminder to embrace everything that comes with transitions and to keep moving forward toward resiliency.
We can all do hard things.
